The Punjab board of revenue Lahore notified All Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar as sub registrars in Punjab
No. 1584-2025/12--E(F)IV. In exercise of
the powers conferred under section 6 of the Registration Act, 1908 (XVI of
1908), Governor of the Punjab is pleased to confer powers to register deeds
upon all Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars of Lahore, Sargodha, Rawalpindi,
Faisalabad, Gujrat, Bahawalpur and D.G. Khan Divisions, in addition to already
appointed Sub- Registrars of corresponding jurisdiction as under, with
immediate effect:

i) Naib
Tehsildars to act as Sub-Registrar for the Revenue Circles assigned to them as
Revenue Officer; and
ii) Tehsildars to act as
Sub-Registrar for the complete Sub-Division of their posting.
The Deputy Commissioner concerned shall
ensure stringent monitoring of the officers mentioned above with strong checks
and balances.
